Description:
The Savage 99 with its rotary magazine was a step forward. In lever action rifles. The Rotary magazine allowed them to be chambered with modern spitzer pointed cartridges. The .250-300 Savage cartridge was the first American rifle cartridge to break 3000 ft./sec. With an effective range of 300 yards, it is great cartridge for deer size and smaller game. This Model 99 was manufactured in 1939. .250-3000 Savage
