It is 75 Cal. Smooth bore with a 42-inch barrel, brass Butt plate, ramrod guides nose cap and shield behind the breech. It has a case-hardened frizzin that throws plenty of good sparks. It comes from A.H. in Canada and we install a flint, leather keeper, drill a 1/16 inch vent hole and Proof test fire it with 75 Grains of 2FF pyrodex. It is the correct weapon for either side of the American Revolution. The American army captured 15,000 of these guns at fort Saratoga and issued them to Washingtons Army.
