Description:
Very Nice Danish M1867 made under contract with Remington. These were made by Kjobenhavns Toihuis (Copenhagen Armory) and this rifle was made in 1886 as a rimfire and later rearsenaled to the 11.35X51R centerfire cartridge in 1896. Metal is surprisingly good with lots of bluing and wood is excellent with no cracks. Bore is shiny with strong rifling. Many of these rifles were modified to the similiar 45-70 cartridge. A 45-70 will chamber in this gun but you need to have it checked by a gunsmith. We do not know if it has been converted. It is an antique so can ship directly. We will require an copy of an adult ID in lieu of sending it to an FFL. Know your local laws as some state require even antiques to be recieved by an FFL. On sale in our shop until bought here.
