Description:
Art Mashburn was a legend in the gun world in Oklahoma City from 1941 to 1972, he and his wife operated Mashburn Arms. He was a pioneer in Mashburn wildcat cartridges and became known for his famous 7 mm Mashburn Magnum. Because of this wildcat cartridge it had profound influence on Remington introducing the 7 mm Remington Magnum in 1962. Art Mashburn was a gentleman, hardworking, honest and did it with a lot of passion and grace. He worked pass his 80s and died in 1992. The Mashburn Arms Co. firearm listed here is an excellent example of his work. Chambered in the very desirable .257 Roberts caliber. .257 Roberts
