Description:
This used Savage MSR 15 Valkyrie is based on the high-performance .224 Valkyrie cartridge. It fires rounds through an 18" long matte black heavy barrel that's made of carbon steel and has a Melonite QPQ finish. The barrel is 5R rifled and has a 1 in 7" twist. It is enshrouded in a free-float M-LOK handguard permitting easy attachment of various M-LOK type accessories. The gun comes without sights, but a full length Picatinny rail runs along the top of the handguard and upper receiver. Fronting the barrel is a tunable muzzle brake. The gun's forged receiver is made of the aviation industry's lightweight 7075-T6 aluminum alloy. The Savage MSR 15 Valkyries' nickel-boron coated trigger is unusual. This coating makes it both extremely durable while simultaneously being very smooth and almost without friction, and it works in conjunction with an adjustable mid-length gas system that permits optimizing performance for different types of ammo. .224 Valkyrie
