AN EARLY RARE AUTHENTIC AWESOME CIVIL WAR OFFICERS KEPI, JACKET & 1858 CANTEEN
(1) M1858 US Cavalry Yellow trimmed shell jacket with inspection stamps in the linen and brass shoulder boards. CONDITION: 1/2" older repair to body on right hand side above the button, otherwise no mothing or notable fading.....Very good / Excellent .....(2) Private purchase cavalry officers kepi. Made of fine dark blue wool with a tarred leather reinforced crown with a polished cotton lining. Double stitched down the rear of the cap. Gold bullion crossed kepi insignia sewn to front. Original leather sweatband is solidly attached. Standard federal eagle buttons gold the tarred chinstrap in place above a tarred leather brim.
CONDITION: Very good / Excellent .....(3) 1858 Standard Union Army Canteen including seldom seen Original Strap.
