The Sig Sauer SP2340 was introduced in 1998. The Sig Sauer SP2340 is short recoil-operated, locked breech pistol, with a polymer frame and detachable grip panels.
The SP 2340 has a rounded trigger guard and is chambered for .40 S&W and .357 SIG, the magazine can hold 12 rounds.
