Taking to SARAH 15 for .........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................Got a Remington Model 1903 A3 Bolt Action Rifle U.S. World War II 30-06 Springfield Caliber for sale.
The last serial number of the firearm/receiver is covered. Manufacture year is 1942. The barrel shows a R A, Flaming Bomb, and a 1-43. The build year of 1942, another site shows March to April 1943. Dates were researched from an online list of Remington 1903A3 Serial number and Manufacture dates. There is an NS on the bolt and a SA with a small J on the stock. The half moon scallop has small U in it. Front Sight has C and the sight mount has an R. The underside of the barrel has what looks like an F and the number 1. This is the best information we have on this piece.
We tried to get pictures of every maker's mark, logo, stamp, cartouche and whatever we could find. Look closely at the pictures as what you see is what you get.
This came from the estate of an FFL/SOT Gun Smith, Gun Store that is out of business. The estate was an avid collector of Garands and components. This is from the collection or was inventory. There will be countless other listings from this inventory over the next 4 to 5 years. We are selling for the estate/store. This is NOT a liquidation. There are no lists and will be no lists.
