Description U.S. Springfield Model 1855 Carbine Pistol in .58 caliber with a single round capacity and a 12" barrel. Brass pistol grip cap. Smooth dark walnut stock. Brass trigger guard. Blued trigger, checkered hammer, lock plate and barrel. Maynard Primer box under hammer. Under barrel ramrod. Rear flip up and front fixed blade sight. Metal loop and eyelet for mounting a shoulder sling. Notches in the rear of grip are for mounting a shoulder stock. Antique, No FFL required and ships to buyers home. Condition: Good/Very Good with wood dings, cracks, rust and finish wear/loss. The rifled bore has some rust.
