As noted, this one was born in 1979. This was the time that Winchester started going back on some of the not so great simplifications they did to the design in '64. So these late 70's guns are actually very nice. The one thing I wish they had done was go back to walnut, as I am not high on the hardwood. Just saying. That being said, this is a nice gun. The finish on the rec'r is really nice, the barrel and tube are the same semi satin you always see. Smooth action, standard 94 trigger pull. No box or papers, but it looks like it was taken right out of the box. This will serve you well for years to come. $50 shipping to the lower 48, 3% surcharge for using a CC.
