Time to move my private collection down the road- This beautiful Savage 99RS was made in 1933 and is equipped with a windage adjustable Lyman peep sight, and a period Lyman scope and mounts. 99 RS models had special flat head sling studs and sling loops, which are rarely encountered or found intact, but are present on this rifle. Special 3 point checkering and all original finishes on both metal and wood with minor scuffs consistent with light use and age. Very honest and clean RS in the desirable 250-3000 chambering. This rifle just oozes class and I doubt you'll be disappointed. You'll wait many years to find another, if you do. This one was set up with pride clear back in the 1930's and was no doubt a gentlemans finest hunting Savage and the talk of the camp. Who else was going to show up with something like this, right? The same still applies today.
