Description:
Winchester Model 1200, 20-gauge, slide-action shotgun with a black-blued 28-inch barrel with elevated rib, a 2¾-inch chamber, and muzzle sight bead and a low-luster, checkered walnut stock and forend.  The length of pull is 14 inches.  The drop at the comb is about 1¾ inches.  The drop at the heel is about 2 inches.  According to the data sheet, Winchester Firearms Manufacturing Dates by Serial Number and Year 1866 through the early 1990s, posted to the Winchester webpage, the year of manufacture of this shotgun is 1974.  There are no box, papers, or other accessories with this gun.

This 49-year-old shotgun has been taken very good care of.  Its condition is 99 percent.  The barrel is 100 percent with a bright, shiny bore; it has no marks or other blemishes of any kind.  The receiver and trigger guard are also 99+ percent, with one mark across the top of the receiver about an inch back from the barrel.  The forearm is 99+ percent; it has one 1¼ by ¼ rub on the left side, about an inch or so back from the front end of the forend, just above the end of the checkering.  It appears as a small foggy area and is difficult to see.  The checkering is deep, crisp, and unmarred.  The stock has two or three very minor marks.  The checkering on both sides of the stock is deep, crisp, and unmarred.  The checkering on both the forend and stock looks new.
