Description:
Winchester Model 70 Classic Super Grade 7mm STW. Made in New Haven and marked "Classic Super Grade", serial G287915 has a 26-inch barrel. Features include a polished blue finish, full-length Mauser claw extractor (CRF), jeweled bolt body, three position safety, knurled bolt knob and steel bottom metal. WOOD: The well-figured select walnut stock is dressed with an ebony forend tip, wrap checkering, single crossbolt, scalloped cheek rest with shadow line, steel grip cap, Winchester logo recoil pad, inletted (Super Grade) sling swivel studs and a satin finish. Leupold mounts (30mm high rings) are attached. No box or papers. DIMENSIONS: Weight (inclusive of mounts) is 9.2 pounds and the length-of-pull is 13.65 inches. CONDITION: Known to be little fired, the bore is strong and bright. Metal finish is approximately 99 percent. Wood is approximately 98 percent with several faint impressions on the comb line. The price is firm and layaway is available. $1,750 plus shipping.
