Description:
The Remington Model Seven was introduced in 1984 and ran until 2005. This rifle has no date code on the barrel which indicates that it was most likely made in 1999 or 2001 when Remington decided to omit the code stamp from the barrels of their guns. A mistake that caused much grief to their customer service department as they were inundated with phone calls for verification of dates of manufacture. Seeing the error of their ways, Remington resumed stamped barrel date codes on 10/01/2001. .223 Remington
