Selling a Colt Frontier Scout Appomattox 1865-1965 Commemorative .22lr in like new condition.
This is a scarce small frame single-action revolver celebrating the 100 year anniversary of the Battle of Appomattox Court House & the end of the Civil War. Manufactured in 1965 with only 1,000 reported to have been produced. Features a blued, black & nickel plated finish, 4 3/4" barrel, ejector rod, blade front sight, square notched rear sight, non-fluted six shot cylinder, smooth trigger, knurled hammer spur, alloy frame, roll stamped engraved butt and two-piece smooth laminated wood grips with silver Colt medallions. Includes a factory wood presentation case with blue velvet lined interior and busts of Robert E. Lee & Ulysses S. Grant impressed into the top.
Revolver retains approximately 99%+ of it’s original finish showing little to no visible wear, but does have some very slight paint freckles on the right side of the frame under the cylinder.
