We normally ship USPS Priority Mail which should be 2-day ship. Shipping is actual cost with a minimum of $30.00 for pistols and $50.00 for rifles/shotguns to ship to most of the 48 contiguous states. Shipping to Alaska may require an extra fee. Shipping insurance is available upon request for an extra fee. We cannot do international sales. As of November 2019, we no longer ship guns to California and Hawaii.

Description:
This is perhaps one of Smith & Wesson’s most important models. The 629 was intended to allow the shooter to have a revolver that had far better resistance to rust and wear than the original carbon-steel Model 29. This is a nice example of the Model 629 44 Magnum Hunter. The standout feature of this model is the extended muzzle brake. This is designed to reduce felt recoil. Other features included are a round butt frame, ball detent lock-up on yoke for extra strength, .312-inch chrome trigger with travel stop, chrome tear drop hammer, orange ramp front sight, micrometer-click rear sight, and a 7.5” tapered lug barrel with integral, 11-slot picatinny rail. The 7.5 inches is the actual rifled length of the barrel. Length of the barrel and muzzle brake together is 8.875 inches (225.43 mm). The revolver has a two-tone finish scheme that is essentially unique to this model. The Hunter comes with the standard factory rubber grips, plus an inexpensive UTG red/green dot sight. The Model 629 has been used for everything from hunting to target shooting. This example is new in the box.
