The serial number is 06451. The bore is strong with some frosting. Slide and barrel assembly have been re blued, softening some of the stamps. Decocker works. Remainder of one WaA 359 on the right flat of the slide. Both grips are numbered 451. The holster is an undated hardshell, WaA383. Left belt loop has a loose thread. Pull strap complete and intact. This gun has been in this holster likely all of its life, as the rounded lanyard ring has made a deep and permanent impression in the leather at the point where it sits fully inside. Made in the late 30's, the Zero Series was the first true Army issue P38, as Walther was just getting ramped up for production.
