Description:
This is a full box, 50 original rounds, of .38 WCF (.38-40) ammunition manufactured by Winchester with 180 grain soft point bullets with call outs for the Models 73 and 92 rifles. The two piece, “K" code buff box dates to the mid-1920's with an excellent red and black primary label that has only a few tiny missing pieces on the bottom edges. The box is now solid with an expert repair to an inside corner edge showing some light age soiling and a slight edge crush on the top left side. The cartridges are in excellent condition, all have the correct “w" primers and matching head stamps with several rounds showing some age darkening. A beautiful looking box that will display well.
