Original Brass Frame Henry Rifle
serial 3280,
still in the original 44 rimfire
we have a box of 50 rounds, for the rifle (not sure of vintage of ammo, or if it will fire)
octagon barrel and lever have a brown patina,
action functions fine,
brass crescent buttplate with one screw loose (on top)
bore is frosty, but shows good lands and grooves,
magazine will not open, I have not tried to force it open
Brass frame shows a few marks here and there,
HC inspector mark on right side near barrel
German Silver front sight
Original leaf rear sight
walnut stock in great shape for age
dark finish, few dings and scuffs, please see pics
crescent butt plate with trapdoor
overall a nice survivor
