We normally ship USPS Priority Mail which should be 2-day ship. Shipping is actual cost with a minimum of $30.00 for pistols and $50.00 for rifles/shotguns to ship to most of the 48 contiguous states. Shipping to Alaska may require an extra fee. Description:
This is a nice long-range hunting rifle. The Hawkeye Hunter is designed by Ruger to be durable, easy to use, and accurate. Like all Model 77 Mark II and Hawkeye rifles, the Hunter utilizes a non-rotating, Mauser-type controlled round feed extractor to ensure positive case extraction under the worst conditions. The bolt is made as a single piece for increased durability. The engraved floor plate is hinged for easy unloading without having to chamber each round. The latch is flush with the trigger guard to avoid accidental cartridge dumps. Chambered for the famous .30-06, a cartridge suitable for a wider range of game than any other cartridge, the Hunter can be used to hunt numerous different types of game animal all over the world. The cold hammer-forged stainless-steel barrel is free-floated and uses 5R rifling at minimum bore and groove dimensions for ultra-precise placement of rounds on the target. Unlike older rifles which had integral scope mounts, the Hunter features a 20 MOA picatinny rail secured by four #8-40 screws. This provides for a more rigid mounting of a scope, increasing accuracy. The Hunter is fitted with Ruger’s LC6 trigger, which has a smooth, crisp pull right out of the box. The rifle also sports a beautiful American Walnut stock with wrap-around checkering on the pistol grip and forearm. This rifle is new in the box.
