Description:
A left hand Remington 722, caliber 223 Rem, 24" barrel. This rifle was in 222 caliber, converted to 223 Remington caliber and converted to a left hand bolt, right eject rifle. The wood stock appears original with the right hand bolt slot filled in nicely, A well cut left hand bolt slot and a repaired chip at top of heel of the butt. The rifle has a Sako type extractor, a wood magazine spacer for the 223 cartridge. The bottom metal is standard Remington 722 non operable. The metal is in good condition with a clean bore though it shows wear but no rust. The front sight is a Mauser type. The rear sight is a Williams FP Receiver sight. Seller is not a FFL so buyer must consult his FFL as to shipment. The rifle ships only to a FFL dealer within CONUS except California, New York, Maryland or Connecticut. Sale is final, no returns.
