U. S. Cavalry Saddle Bags circa Turn of the Century.
An original pair of 1918 "US" marked antique cavalry saddle bags in much better condition than most military saddlebags you see from this era. They have all the original unbroken straps still attached. They do have just two tiny flaws, the strap keeper on the center strap on the left side has a couple of stitches missing and one of the buckles on the right side has been replaced. The leather is still pliable. The buttons on the inside of the bags are still there. Look at the pictures. These bags could be used, I would beused. They have been treated with a leather dressing. Would be great on an Old West saddle or Spanish American War display or show off in your cowboy room.
