SN: 149697A. Made in 1884, 44-40 caliber with a 20"" barrel. Bore is excellent, bright and shiny. The metal has a smooth brown patina. The buttstock shows numerous marks and wear but is not cracked. The underside of the receiver has a very small marking of initials and a number. We don't know the origin of those markings or what they mean. A good looking and interesting Winchester carbine. Consignment.
