Description:
This Remington Model 12 Takedown was manufactured in June of 1929 and remains in very good overall condition with an excellent bore. Wood is solid with some chips and dings but nothing too bad. A coat of finish was added long ago. Original blue is very good with blue loss on high contact places and only scattered oxidation. . Butt plate shows some finish loss with some very light pitting. Butt plate is stamped UMC (Union Metallic Cartridge). Bore is bright and excellent and function is good. Original iron sights remain and magazine tube is still in place. Right side of barrel is stamped "Bert Wilson". This is a very nice Remington that brings back childhood memories. .22 Long Rifle
