1949 - Browning Superposed - Serial # 867 - - 20ga, 2-3/4", 28" IM / F (.025 / .035), Solid Rib, LOP 14-1/4" (12" to edge of original stock) Drop 1-1/2" to 2-1/4", Slight Cast Off, Weight 6 lbs. 9 oz.
Gun is Tight. Everything seems to work. The barrels are nice and chokes have not been changed. However, there is some minor roughness in the bores just forward of the chambers. And, the rib is loose just forward of the chambers.
You can go shooting with this one right now. However, I see it as a prime candidate for a Restoration or Upgrade - 3 Digit Serial, 28" Solid Rib Barrels.
