J. Purdey & Sons Best Grade Bolt Action Rifle
Classic Best Grade Mauser Bolt Action Rifle in 30-06 Caliber. Stocked in Deluxe English Walnut. Schnabel forend with Monte Carlo buttstock with cheekpiece to a ½” Silver’s pad. The buttstock has an almost imperceptible scratch on the right side. The stock has full pistol grip with engraved grip cap.
The action, cross bolt, floorplate, grip cap and trigger guard are engraved in Purdey’s finest Scroll Engraving. All metal blue 99%. The barrel length is 23 inches, with barrel band for sling, has scroll engraving matching receiver and floorplate at the action interface.
Factory leather case with straps – 99%+ condition with no observable wear or stains.
Case includes:
Purdey black leather with gold maker’s label.
Little appearance of wear on burgundy cloth where action and barrels rest.
Summary
99% Blue, original finish. Stock is 98+% with a few small locker rash scratches, save the one on the buttstock as described.
Current replacement Price for bespoke order for same features approximately 39,000 Pounds Sterling and two-year lead time (minimum).
