Browning Superposed were built in Belgium from 1931 through 1976 when regular production ended. The most desirable Superposed guns are the long tang, round knob guns built before 1967. This Superposed, sn62193 was built in 1958 has mirror bores choked Improved Cylinder and Modified, a great combo for upland game and clay busting at the club. The barrels exhibit 99% factory original bluing and a solid rib. The action and trigger guard likewise show their vintage and history with 94% factory bluing fading to a beautiful silver gray on the bottom edges, an effect that is earned and hard to fake. The French Walnut furniture has some light handling marks. A selectable safety, timed ejectors and crisp Grade 1 engraving add to the complete picture of this classic Long Tang Round Knob Superposed.
