Description:
Hard to find single barrel 8ga mad by W.H. Davenport of Norwich, CT. This gun made with 36" twist steel barrel, checkered forearm and buttstock. Frame is case hardened and unengraved.
Gun remains in very nice overall condition. Barrel with about 95% tonining brown twist pattern. Frame retains about 60%++ original case color with tonining at carry point. Buttstock is very good as is forearm having been restored long ago. The original buttplate shows some wear as seen in the photo and likely the gun spent most of its life resting on the butt.
