Description:
Savage 24V chambered in 223 Remington and 20 gauge. The left side of the upper barrel is marked "-SAVAGE 24V SERIES D- / WESTFIELD, MA. CAL. 223 REM." and "SP9". The left side of the lower barrel is marked "20 GAUGE / 2 3/4 & 3 INCH SHELLS", "0" and a box "5". The 20 gauge barrel is a fixed "MOD" choke. The barrel lug is marked "SP9". The left side of the receiver is marked with the serial number "E095088". This combo gun has a front beaded blade sight integral to a ramped mount screwed to the upper barrel. The rear sight is a U-notch with white triangle, dovetailed to the top of the upper barrel and is adjustable for elevation. The top rear of the upper barrel is drilled and tapped with an installed mount to accommodate optics. The stocks are two-piece wood featuring a skipline checkered forend, skipline checkered semi-pistol grip with grip cap, Monte Carlo style comb and hard rubber buttplate. This gun is in great overall condition. .223 Remington
