This 32 rimfire caliber Hopkins & Allen Ranger No. 2 revolver has approx. 90% of its original nickel finish with much of the loss on the barrel. The 2.75"" round barrel has a very good bore with strong rifling and some firing erosion. The top strap is marked HOPKINS & ALLEN M;FG CO. over PAT. MCH 28 71 MAY 27 79 over RANGER NO. 2.. The scarce multicolor tan and brown composition grips are fine with no cracks or chips. The hammer operates at full cock only but does not rotate the cylinder. This is a nice looking RANGER NO. 2 revolver with great grips.
