WW2 GERMAN MAUSER K98K S/27 8X57 MM RIFLE DATED 1937 W/VIETNAM WAR CAPTURE DOCUMENT. All original with matching barrel and receiver with other numbers not matching. Good markings with German Ordnance pre-war Eagle stamps crisply struck on barrel and receiver. Metal with heavy old weathered patina and matching wood with moderately worn original finish. Working order with dark bore. Accompanying capture document states it was captured from Maj. Nguyen Huu Tri, Peoples Army Vietnam (PAVN) 8 March 1970 by 5th Special Forces Group Sgt. Jack N. Tobin during hostile action on the Cua Lon River near Nam Cam, Republic of South Vietnam.
