This excellent condition Smith & Wesson 457 has had barely 50 rounds put through it and is a compact semi-automatic pistol from S&Ws \"third generation\" series of steel-framed handguns chambered for the .45 ACP cartridge and utilizes a traditional double-action trigger mechanism. There is a slide-mounted safety lever that drops the hammer from its cocked position when moved to the ‚‚safe‚‚ position.
