SN: 148649. Made in 1904, 38 Long Colt caliber with a 4.5"" barrel. Bore is very good, bright with light etching. Double action revolver with about 60% blue finish and traces of case colors. The grips are very good with light wear. The backstrap is engraved ""Wells Fargo"" very lightly. There's no record that Wells Fargo every ordered Colt Lightnings so we assume the marking was added later spuriously. A good looking western Colt revolver.
