Estate Fresh from the Commonwealth of Virginia we have a particularly hard to find early Type III Remington Rand 1911A1. This pistol was manufactured in the fall of 1943 just as Rand was switching from DuLite to Parkerized finish.
This pistol is completely original with mirror wear patterns to the barrel and slide/frame suggesting that its been together for a very long time. More than likely a bringback pistol.
