Original and untouched October 1943 Production Ithaca 1911A1. This pistol bears a "Double Stamped" slide which was intermixed in this narrow SN# range during Ithaca's Production. Matching Flaming Bomb Ordnance inspection stamps on frame and slide. Original High Standard barrel has excellent visible wear patterns that tells us this A1 has been together for a long time, and no doubt left the war as a souvenir. This is not an easy pistol to find in original condition.
Included is an Enger Kress Shoulder holster with WM Matthews embossed on the strap!
