For consideration is a very nice condition Tula Arsenal Nagant 1895 double action revolver in 7.62x38R caliber. The Nagant M1895 Revolver is a seven-shot, gas-seal revolver designed and produced by Belgian industrialist Léon Nagant for the Russian Empire. The Nagant M1895 was chambered for a proprietary cartridge, 7.62×38mmR, and featured an unusual "gas-seal" system, in which the cylinder moved forward when the gun was cocked, to close the gap between the cylinder and the barrel, providing a boost to the muzzle velocity of the bullet and allowing the weapon to be suppressed (an unusual characteristic for a revolver). In fact, a 38mm long shell covers the whole bullet for this very purpose as well. This particular example was made in 1932 by the Tula Arsenal in Russia. It is in very good condition exhibiting only light handling marks and high edge wear. Mechanically it is in outstanding condition with everything working as it should. All grip panels are free of cracks or chips. This Nagant M1895 would make a great addition to an existing collection or a strong way to start a new collection.
