This is a really unique piece of American history, this pistol is a cut down of a rifle that likely broke during the period as there's nothing new about it. This is a heavy pistol that sports a 9" brass barrel. The lock is marked "T Davidson & Co Cincinnati". The pistol has 2 old collection tags on the stock. Missing the ram rod. Mechanically the lock functions fine. This is a true piece of American Frontier ingenuity! Shipping is $40 fully insured.
