The gun is in excellent mechanical condition with all parts present and functioning. The gun has a single Hunter One Trigger and selectilve ejectors. The receiver is nicely engraved over most of sreceiver and side plated in the Specialty grade style. there are geese presented on the right side side plate and quail on the left side. The rib is broad (1/2") with double sites. The wood furiture is free of cracks or easily visible dents (several very small dents can be found on close inspection). The metal is in excellent condition with only very lighst carry wear to the bottom of the receiver. The gun sports 28" barrels choked Full on the left and Imp. Mod on the right. The serial number (RE68934) would indicate an 1924 mfg. date. Altogether a very attractive L. C. Smith.
