The French Mas MLE 1936 was the main battle rifle of the French Army during WWII. This rifle often carries the slogan, “Never fired, only dropped once” due to the very quick French defeat. That said, this rifle saw widespread use among freedom fighters and other military groups fighting back the Nazi’s. It was widely regarded as a dependable rifle from those who extensively used them.
