Description:
This has been my personal turkey gun since 2013. I had the barrel shortened to 22" and an Invector Plus choking system installed at Brilley's. I added fully adjustable front and rear fiber optic sights and custom scope rail. I tested the five top extended turkey choke tubes and settled on a .650 Head Hunter that patterns great using Winchester Turkey Loads #6 out to 40 yards. If I told you how many turkeys I killed with this gun it would be hard to believe. It has a Mossy Oak camo pattern and comes with a solid matching Mossy Oak sling. It is too much gun for me at my age. I downsized to a 20 gauge Weatherby 18i. Internally the gun is spotless and has only been used for spring turkey. It functions perfectly and has never failed me.
