This is as near mint as you can get for this model.Carl Eickhorn, squirrel. with serrated tail within a small double oval TM. Early plated hilt fittings with minute surface wear. the reverse integral ferrule is stamped with the accountablity number FU 763 AND ALSO ON THE THROAT OF THE SCABBARD. The iodized black paint minor touches 98 % perfect, the brown stag grips are perfect, The blade is perfect, the motto is perfect. Since the 1934 pattern hewer was worn by officers and enlisted personnel until the 1937 introduction of the officers model , the abbreviation FU COULD BE FOR FUHRER. Call 859-533-5445, all the Eickhorn solingen makers marks are perfect, this HEWER appears never have been used , and appears to be direct out of the factory minty. This is one of many items from a collection I bought. Double marked accountablity numbers.
