Description:
Merkel 200E 16 gauge over-under shotgun marked "GEBR. MERKEL, SUHL", "Made In GDR. Markings on the barrels are "SPEZIAL LAUFSTAHL", "Weichlot", serial number of "152224", 557 over N over Suhl proof house mark. Serial number of "152224" is also present on the receiver and inside of forearm. US import/export marks are found on the bottom of the barrel "CAI" and INTERFOR USA. Blued solid matt rib barrel with front bead sight. Receiver and tang have case-hardening that is fading, trigger guard is blued, and both have light engraving., dual triggers, tang safety selector, with chamber indicators, sling swivels are present on barrel and stock. The lower barrel is choked "CYL" with the top barrel choked "IM". 16 Gauge
