Remington‚‚s Model 700 BDL Custom Deluxe Bolt-Action Rifles remain one of the most accurate out-of-the-box rifles available. This rifle comes equipped with an externally adjustable X-Mark Pro trigger system factory set at 3-1/2 lbs. for exceptional shot control that easily adjusts to your preferences. The receiver is machined from solid-steel bar stock for optimum uniformity and strength. The Cylindrical receiver design delivers a solid bedding area in the stock for increased consistency. Integral extractor uniformly supports cartridge head. Hinged floorplate high-gloss finish American walnut stock with cheekpiece, black forend tip and grip cap, and polished blued barrel.
This particular rifle is chambered in the powerful 300 Remington Ultra Magnum, This cartridge was developed in 1999 as a long range hunting cartridge. It is able to launch heavy bullets with high sectional densities at high velocities there by retaining energy to take game cleanly at longer ranges than less powerful cartridges such as the .30-06 Springfield and even the .300 Winchester Magnum.
