Description:
The Colt Ace is almost a mythical beast for collectors. They were designed to be a 'training' version of the Colt M1911, chambered in .22 LR, they felt like, acted like, and shot like the 1911 but with far less recoil and much reduced cost. As a consequence, most of these pistols were very used. This one, at 90 years old, is in very good condition with just a few light scratches, blue wear on the high points only, and a very clean bore. The grips show little wear. The magazine is shiny, ... and the letter says all the right parts are in it. .22 Long Rifle
