Description:
This gun is fitted with an extremely RARE 26 inch full octagon stainless steel barrel which retains about 90% of a Japanned black finish. Original sights include a Lyman period front sight, flip up two leaf rear sight, and a model 21 sliding Lyman Receiver sight. Original checkered deluxe straight grain walnut stock is in fine condition with considerable amount of original varnish still remaining as well as sharp checkering. Some wear to the forarm. Complete with a rifle style buttplate. The 3/4 length mag tube retains about half the blue and the receiver is mostly a grey brown color with some dings and mars on it. The Japanned black finish tended to wear off very easily therefore making it less desirable, short lived, and very rare today.
