Description:
SOLD PENDING FUNDS. Skeet Grade Model 42 made in 1936. 28" full choke plain barrel, marked for 3" shells. Straight grip. At some point, a soft oil finish has been added to stock, which is without blemish. Metal is very good, with tiny speckles on both sides of receiver. I tried to photograph them, but they are too small to show up. Bore is excellent. LOP 13 3/4". There is an old repair or oil soak at right rear on receiver (see photo). It's solid as a rock and the checkering runs right through it. This gun and a similar 1936 made Model 42, straight grip, 26" solid rib rib skeet choked gun (see separate listing) can be purchased as a pair for $4000. Shipping $50/gun, $75 the pair.
