This is an unmarked model and caliber revolver manufactured by H&R Inc. with a production date code of 1979. The interesting 6 shot, solid frame, heavy duty double action revolver features a swing out cylinder, plain varnished smooth walnut grips, and an adjustable windage and elevation rear sight. The only marks present on the gun are the “H&R INC. GARDNER. MASS. U.S.A." on the left side of the frame with matching serial numbers on the bottom of the grip frame, cylinder side and under the barrel. The incorporated features appear to be a mixture of the model 632 and the later early 1980's model 832 that is curiously non-marked so likely an employee put-together or an internal factory reference gun. In excellent plus condition it retains virtually all, 98-99% of the original blue finish on the barrel, frame and cylinder with only a faint drag line. The hardwood grips are likewise excellent showing some light use and handling marks. This will make a great addition to any H&R collection.
