Description:
This is a full box, 50 original rounds, of .41 Short Colt ammunition manufactured by the U.S. Cartridge Company. The classic orange and red two piece box has an interesting mixture of a New York address top label and Lowell, Mass side label making this a likely early transition box with some old supplies being used up after the move to NY. Also has a later added “NON-MERCURIC" overprint. The box is solid with mild edge wear and some flaking of the side label. The cartridges are in excellent condition. An interesting transition box in a scarce caliber.
