Savage - Model 99A – 250-3000 cal. - Stk# C454
This Savage Model 99A was manufactured in 1972 and is chambered in 250-3000 with a 20” blued tapered round barrel. The bore is in very good condition. The barrel is mounted with a ramped dovetailed front blade sight and an elevation adjustable flip-up rear sight. The receiver has been drilled and tapped for a scope mount. The action is smooth and locks up tight. The bluing on this rifle is in very good condition with the exception of a few small scratches on the barrel just behind the front sight. The lever has been color cased hardened. The Walnut forend and buttstock are in very good condition with minor usage marks. It has the original steel butt plate and sling swivel studs. Overall Condition is very good. Length of pull is 13-5/8”, overall length is 40-1/4”, and weight is 6.8lbs.
