1945 Inland M1 Carbine. Receiver Serial Number: Inland 6,908,236 (Hand Stamped "1"). Barrel Inland 2/45
PRICE REDUCTION. This is a late war Inland Carbine. It appears to be all correct as it left the factory. There is no indication that it was re-arsenaled. It has some distinctive carving on the stock, indicating that it went from manufacture to the Philippines. It was probably provided by the US Military to Philippino Guerillas in 1945. The carving indicates that it was used in a Southern Province of Luzon, specifically Camarines Sur. It also looks like it made its way to Korea. See the 45th Infantry Division Thunderbird carving on the stock.
